My wife recently helped our alma mater raise funds for a new all turf soccer field. It's 140 yds long and sixty yds wide. It's plus quality turf and only cost 30,000 dollars with a scoreboard and sound system. You could probably build a fairly awesome softball complex with four fields in a clover formation for about $250,000.
